Depression is a mood disorder that causes sadness, but can also present as low energy, irritability, lack of concentration, no pleasure in activities and disruptions in sleeping or eating. Depressive Disorders that we treat are Major Depressive  Disorder, Seasonal Affective Disorder, or Postpartum Depression. We also provide interventions for suicidal ideation and non-suicidal self harm. Finding out the specific causes and how to cope/treat the depression can help you start feeling like yourself again.

ANXIETY

Anxiety  can include excessive worry, worrying about a multitude of things, or having a fear that something bad may happen.  Someone experiencing anxiety can also have disruptions in their sleeping and eating habits. Provision Counseling & Solution treats Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder,  Panic Disorder, or Phobias.

MBCT incorporates principles of CBT that focuses on mindfulness techniques to teach people to pay close attention to their thoughts and feelings. Techniques include meditation, body scan exercises and yoga. This is effective for anxiety or depression.
